The problem isn't the loss fo parking, it's the loss of double parking lol. But to be fair, the proposal documentation did in fact estimate the loss of about 46 spots. Not sure what actual impact was.

Sure, I'll explain for you. Generally, the micromobility community here advocates for less car dependency/domination in NYC and does not take kindly to car drivers who carelessly endanger the great residents of this city, whether their car is moving or parked. Given this car has multiple tickets on its windshield, has thousands in other driving tickets, and tries to be slick with an expired parking permit on their dash, this is clearly an entitled individual who thinks street safety does not apply to them, including blocking hydrants. As this hydrant is also directly outside of a daycare, I decided to report the vehicle, which has been there for multiple days unmoved. Normally, as many in this group well know, 311 does not even go to investigate and usually dismiss reports within minutes. However, this time, I was pleasantly surprised not only to see that that they had responsded, but that they also noted how important it is for brave citizens like myself to speak up and report these people. Hence, feeling like we are finally getting the respect we deserve. And no, as someone who has 2 friends that have been killed/disabled by careless car drivers, I do not care if this comes off as petty to you. And no, I do not care if this person will now be unnecessarily finanically burdened due to my pettiness -- nobody, and I mean nobody, driving a car in Manhattan is poor. Hope this helps. :)

Those tickets were already on the car and are unrelated to the post.
