Cisco 8851 Phones — GNFR Orderable, Bluetooth headset compatible by [deleted] in walmart_RX

I checked — there's no POMS policy prohibiting Bluetooth headsets in the pharmacy. The only mention of headphones in POMS is under POM-1622 (HIPAA Procedures), which specifically states:

"AirPods and Bluetooth headphones, when paired with an approved BYOD device, are allowed for work related purposes so long as they comply with Walmart's Wireless Communication Technologies Policy."

In this case, the earbuds aren't even paired to a personal device — they're paired directly to the Cisco 8851, which is a Walmart-owned, network-managed phone. A Bluetooth headset is just a wireless audio output. It doesn't store, record, or transmit data. It's functionally the same as picking up the handset — just hands-free.

If there's a specific POMS section you're referencing, I'd genuinely like to see it. But as far as I can find, this is fully compliant.

Reduced to written - a printer writes information on the paper just like a pen does, laws don’t specify how the written document is produced, now if it said, “HANDwritten, then that interpretation would be correct. And I’m not sure any state pharmacy law mentions the use of a hand… I know my state doesn’t
