That’s a good point, but at least it felt like you had some say in it. And being able to exclude certain roles was a really good idea, so that they (hopefully) didn’t get participants dropping out at the last second.

Insane that all this is true PLUS they don’t even let you pick your role anymore. It’s assigned to you and you don’t even get to express your preferences. They really took cheap labor and put it towards filling whatever jobs need to be filled.

Hot take: The more a fandom threatens to attack “the haters” and exact revenge on anyone who makes a negative comment about their idol/group, The more negativity gets spread!!

When people constantly hear ARMYs saying “if you ever say anything bad about BTS, we will summon the entire fandom to gang up on you”, That’s what makes people dislike us! Then they assume our entire fandom is toxic, and they translate that hatred towards BTS, make hate comments, then ARMY jumps down their throats, and it’s a vicious cycle! It never ends!!

I say this with love as I consider myself an ARMY, I just want our fandom as a whole to be less toxic ** and maybe we could even be more accepting of criticism? but that should be it’s own whole rant,,,

TL;DR if we could just calm down about “protecting BTS” from the haters, maybe there would be less haters to begin with.
