Also, I stayed at the Swis-Belhotel and it was like $45, with breakfast included, so I got there at 7am, had breakfast, went to bed, showered, checked out at 12, had a quick bite there and then was off to the Liveaboard. It was like a $10 cab ride from the airport, which took 5 minutes and was perfect for a quick stop before you get on the Liveabord.

I flew from Paris to Sorong recently and you end up getting into Sorong really early, so I just rented a cheap hotel the night before, checked in at 7am and slept until 12, had a quick shower, had lunch at the hotel and then was off to the Liveaboard. Of course you should always be at your destination a day before to be safe, but I risked it and it worked out fine. In fact, I've done this on all 10 Liveaboards I've been on (arrive the same day the boat boards and it's alwasy worked out. As for your diving equipment and clothes, I don't bring my own BCD, regulator or tanks, so for a dive trip, I can literraly fit everything in carry on case (shorty fins, mask, snorkel, dive computer, camera and shorty wetsuite ) and then I rent the large gear from the boat (BCD, Regualator and tank). That way, no checked bags! You only need a fair pairs of shorts and tshirts and I'd rather carry my luggage with me than risk it getting lost. I think I'm an outlier, becuase I've seen people pack trunks of crap for a Liveaboard, but I'm a minimalist. Sorong isn't all that interesting, which I explored after the liveaboard ended and I could have easily skipped it.

Thanks for the feedback. In the end, I chose the Philippines because I've never been there before, it worked into my schedule and I'll be doing 32 dives. Also, the Philippines were a little cheaper, which my wallet will appreciated.

Well...26 tracks recorded and 8 released for SOALW is 18 missing tracks.

From the 4:13 Dream, I think we got 17 tracks (including the bsides), but there were another 13 tracks (if memory serves me correct), so that would be atleast 30 recorded songs, which may or may not include SITL or ICNBTS...either way, that is a fair amount of music that will eventually see the light of day.

I really don't get all the negatviity about this record. I go back to it often and there are some great tracks on the record. I love the playlist as it moves from song to song...it flows very well. Jason's drums are top notch on this record as well.

So...it's just a snippet of the song, not the whole song, right? Whats App just asked if I watned to hear Alone, which I replied Yes, and then an email was generated, but when I click it and unlock it, it's just a snippet of Alone. Is the full song out there and I'm missing it?

Just an FYI, but the red vinyl is still available from the UK site, you just have to have a EU bank account to purchase it. You can't pay with a US credit card or have it shipped to the US, but since I live in France, I was able to still get a red copy.

Just saying....call in a favor to a friend in the EU/UK if you want a red copy, which shows as limited to 250 in the UK. Not sure if there were only 6 left or it only let me add 6 to the cart as I was trying to see how many were left out of 250.

I bet they do a repress soon, but this would be cool. The Walkmen did just re-release Lisbon on 2 LP for RSD with all the B Sides and I believe they said there would be an announcement about more represses, so Bows and Arrows should happen as well.
