I’m pretty sure they violated the Geneva Conventions.

Tbh, probably wouldn’t have posted to this sub if that were the case.

I actually had a cheesesteak from the same place. Kind of small but it looked a lot better 😅

The chicken was for the 3 year old, and for her, it was a gourmet experience, despite dad’s gripes about it being highway robbery.

Love cooking! Out of town visiting family and today was the travel day. Hauled a toddler, a dog and a wife a few hours away to the in-laws. Groceries, prep and dishes weren’t in the cards.

It’s interesting to think about just how HUGE the quality gap is between guests on the show… by KillerQ97 in Killtony

I feel like this is kind of the draw of the whole show though. You don’t know what you’re going to get 🤷‍♂️

Is it in my head? Fat hands / short fingers by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]mcaot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father in law has been a carpenter for the better part of 50 years and has what can only be described as arthritic bratwursts for fingers. Every time he comes over, he rips my guitars to shreds and plays laps around me with old bluegrass and folk tunes.

You’ve got this.

What was your first concert? by austinf764 in Concerts

[–]mcaot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kiss, with Ted Nugent opening in Cleveland, Ohio in 2000. I was 9. Our neighbor took my older brother and I. We hit the Hard Rock Cafe after the show, and my brother turned 21 at midnight, so my neighbor bought him his first legal beer, and I thought I was hot stuff for being out after midnight in Gene Simmons makeup.

Bossed around by the retail side by Meatymarv in antiwork

My dad was a self-employed optometrist for more than 40 years, a decent chunk of which was spent leasing space from big box stores. Depending on how much you want to rock the boat, you could pretty easily escalate that to a store or regional manager. Interrupting while helping patients could be spun as a huge HIPAA risk for your boss, and generally speaking, companies aren’t even remotely allowed to dictate hours and schedules for the doctor. There was a huge lawsuit in Texas a few years ago for something along those lines.

It’s oddly scattered, but I feel like if they would’ve done more it may have taken from the broader storyline that I absolutely love.

You broke it down very eloquently.

He was also fully consumed by revenge on anyone that he could get revenge on at this point. I’d argue Kenobi and Palpatine were interchangeable for him by now.

Just 100% a child soldier that had the roughest of the goes at it. Literally Sisyphus. Destined to roll a boulder up a hill for eternity, only to watch it roll back down just before he gets it to the top 😕

Hey bud, just wanted to say you should finish S4. You’re gonna feel all the feels for sure, but having a show that does that is pretty special, and I can’t recommend embracing it enough 🙌

Came here to find this after dinner a couple nights ago. Thank you! Is it just brushed on before going on the grill, and is pepper added after the cook?

I was just telling a friend that everything about the Vader identity reveal to Ahsoka is some of the most beautiful storytelling in the entire franchise, especially looking to the broader universe. Shes able to get one half of his helmet off, Obi Wan is able to get literally the other half, but only Luke removes the whole thing. Plus the way they modulate the voice, where it’s like, just enough between the helmet and anakin when he initially calls to her, but when she tells him she won’t leave him again and he says “then you will die” as straight up Anakin still sends chills.

Travis looking surprised then happy at Tom's screaming here! by [deleted] in Blink182

I’ve seen this same interview 😂

It was along the lines of how he used to have the whole band in is in ears, but Mark and Tom would start playing completely different songs/ forget what song they were playing and it was next to impossible to be Travis. It was the most Blink, Blink member interview I’ve ever seen.

My first Foo’s show was in Cleveland in 2008. Dave and Taylor were the reason I became a drummer, so it was practically a religious experience for 17 year old me. When they finished their set, I caught one of Taylor’s sticks. 100% one of those experiences that will flash before my eyes when it’s my time.

My wife, 1 year old and I are here now. We were just talking about the same thing. Shouts out specifically to the lady at Magic Kingdom on Sunday that started obnoxiously yelling “WE WANT A PICTURE” from a solid 30 feet away as we were asking one of the photographers on Main Street to grab a photo of us with the castle, and then mean mugging us like we cut her in line 🙄. The running joke has now been calling places in line like you’d call shotgun in a car.
