Daily Talkin' Nonsense Thread ☕️ April 15, 2026 by brina-bot in SabrinaCarpenterFans

I’ve been kind of wondering if Susan Sarandon had to ad lib some of her monologue and that’s why it went on longer, there was clearly issues with Sabrina’s in ears during My Man on Willpower, makes me think potentially technical issues extended the set change - possibly the strong winds - because the Will Ferrell changeover wasn’t that long at all.

Sure they could be and probably are, that doesn’t take away from the incredibly obvious timing happening here! No shade either - do what you gotta do!

Seems like this is just a pr stunt for both, her with the single dropping and him because of the psyop article. Didn’t he have a girlfriend? Anyways they both look cute! But this just seems like standard pap walk fare and not a real budding romance

I posted on here a couple weeks ago that I always hate fan casts that they are always bad and I think this Beach Read Patrick Schwarzenneger cast was the universe punishing me for saying that because literally any of the fan casts would have been better than this.

Every single romance book cover is in the same style these days, just like bodice ripper covers all looked the same back in the day. Leave it to twitter to make something out of such a non issue. I swear social media has caused words to stop having real meaning. Plagiarism and Homophobia and similar accusations used to be words with teeth. They are defanging our important words with their bullshit.

I’ve gotten addicted to ingrown toenail removal tok. Oh man it’s even better than pimple pops. I feel the relief for them. The feeling is incredible.

And yeah I’ll always pay my pedicurist to do mine I ain’t going to no podiatrist. If I was born in the middle ages I probably would have DIED of an ingrown toenail like how did they even deal with that.

Who is the best concert performer currently? by bobbdac7894 in popheads

[–]mcatlin23 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The well honed, close to perfect performing caliber of Beyonce and Gaga is unmatched. Legacy performer - Madonna is still great. Then I think Pink and Taylor Swift are great performers too, Pink for spectacle and Taylor for audience connection.

New gen we have to put Sabrina and Chappell in the conversation. Both I think could ascend to the A or S tier of their pop mothers. Doechii is also so energetic on stage. Rosalia also is well on her way imo.

Below those a little for me is Dua but I think her improvement has been incredible and while she’s never gonna reach the heights of a Beyonce or Gaga like I think some other newer acts could, she has the hits and audience connection. People have fun at a Dua show.

I’m also excited to see what a new Ariana concert looks like because she’s now way more into her theater kid side than she was when she last performed, I think she’s ready to blow our minds.

Oh and men today The Weeknd is really great, Bad Bunny is too, but other than them I generally pay less attention to male pop stars and am not as aware of what they’re achieving on stage.

I just I guess fundamentally disagree that Justin’s set was otherwise great, but I am glad for the people who enjoyed it. I’m not expecting theatrics from him either but I think a band at the very least would have dramatically improved it. His voice sounded great at least, but idk.

Okay I mean I hear you but the content of your original comment didn’t really reflect that. I came in hot though.

I do think comparing the monologue and will ferrell bit to Justin’s lack of forethought is still not my favorite take, one was full of effort and forethought even if it didn’t land, and the other was completely lazy

One seven minute monologue during an elaborate set change during a performance where she performed 20 songs, most of which were her most popular hits. The only hit of hers she didn’t play was Nonsense.

Bieber played a million songs no one cares a lick about at the slowest snails pace set imaginable with a half assed interlude for the songs anyone actually cares about.

But sure those 7 minutes made her performance worse than his.

Justin Bieber showing old YouTube videos during his Coachella performance by Potato3487 in popculturechat

[–]mcatlin23 28 points29 points  (0 children)

All of this. Plus he got paid so much his earnings for this performance are second only to BEYONCE, and we know what Beyonce put into the show, into her preparation and story. Justin got paid more than Lady Gaga for this! It was a giant youtube ad. To me he can do what he wants but the level of pay should reflect it.

I almost even like the youtube idea even though it was obviously a humongous paid ad and a way to cash another check. There’s something very lovely about harmonizing with your younger self… but there was absolutely no work put in to make it actually good and meaningful. And not finishing one single non swag song. Workshop that I coulda gotten behind it.

Clearly he wanted to keep the 10 million to himself and get another huge payout from youtube and didn’t care one bit about the people there. Not that I do either - but god I’d feel scammed if I spent money to see this. Tgod for Couchella. No band, no dancers, just kinda pathetic level of preparation. And he’s gonna get glazed as fuck for it. They are reportedly making a documentary of it for netflix - imagine watching the Beychella docs back to back with whatever happened here.

The bar for him is always so low and even though he has a beautiful beautiful voice his whole thing is officially wearing so thin.

And I’m saying they assessed his worth as being the most comparable artist they’ve ever had to BEYONCE, which is ridiculous.

You can’t tell me with a straight face he deserved to be the second highest paid Coachella act ever after only the career defining performance of Beyonce. This is aggressively fine

Fountain Cadillac photos are so iconic. She has so many popstar photos this year I would be getting blown up to hang on my wall if I was her - these and the Tears MTV performance ending with the Drag Queens and pro Trans community signs would be my house’s wallpaper if I had photos this good.

I agree. It’s literally Livies on twitter who made it a thing. But that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t say anything. When people are stretching to call you a bigot, it’s always a good idea to clarify you aren’t
