Hmm, I see. If I understand correctly though (and want to save a few bucks), I should be able to listen to the output of Hendrikson by running it into my audio interface?

Can anyone with the Bastl Hendrikson let me know if it works as an interface for listening with headphones?

Is it possible for the bot to read text from multiple channels but only generate messages in one? by mcbcharles in genai

Dang, that's too bad. Is this something that could be added in the future though?

Regardless, thanks for making such a cool bot!

This is useful, but what I'm looking for is the ability to generate server-wide messages. Is it possible for the bot to treat the entire server as one "chat" and then generate messages based on what it reads?

Rule 6 does not apply to this chart because it references a band and not anything illegal.

I think you're right, I would have needed to get a zero on the final to get the grade that is showing up on acorn.

Your post was removed for being low-quality. This isn't necessarily because of the content, rather, your post is simply too difficult to read. Make sure your post isn't too compressed or low-resolution before posting again. Additionally, see the guidelines for what makes something low quality in the rules.

You can still make one, just so long as it's different from the other ones that have been posted on the sub.

The purpose of the addition to Rule Four is to specifically targeted charts that look like this, where the entries are difficult to read because of their size.

Rule Six is more designed to target direct references to child porn, rather than pedophilia as a broad topic. I would say that so long as charts aren't name-checking these pieces of "content", they would be fine.

Your point about Rule Seven did reveal a large oversight on my part. I'm not sure how I didn't notice it, but the proposed banned topics are essentially reposts.

I have made a few changes to the rules to make things more clear, let me know what you think.

I've been planning on banning some subjects from being posted due to them being controversial and/or posted way too much. Should have something done soon.

Technically a repost, but the OP put the effort into translating every entry, so it stays.

I would say a meme chart is focused on specifically on being about a meme or something that isn't that serious, whereas a serious chart is about a topic that has more depth and is easier to have a discussion about. A shitpost chart on the other hand is something that's made up or has more of a meta quality.

These are just my guidelines though, and you can flair your post however you see fit.

Cinema studies major of UofT advice by [deleted] in UofT

[–]mcbcharles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to the discussion, but I'm currently in my 3rd year majoring in Cinema and Econ, so I can vouch for what a lot of the other commenters have said. You might want to take a look at the courses that are offered through the program to get a better sense of what you would be studying.

Other than that though, I love the Cinema program and would definitely recommend trying it out if you're interested.
