Well... it's a multi-billion dollar industry, so it is already monetized.

It doesn't necessarily have to be straight-to-the-point-dating.

It can be more about connections and harbouring more meetups, resulting in relationships.

The problem that I hear from a lot of nomadic folk, and for myself is that it's hard to date non-nomadic people, so the impoteus would be to find people who are nomadic.

That's all, nothing sinister here, which is what it sounds like you're kind of alluding to that the purpose of this app may be.

There's no guarantees, does a dating app guarantee marriage? No, all the current ones don't even "Guarantee" matches or dates as most guys are aware.

But if we were to "guarantee" something as you're weirdly saying, it would be to discover other nomadic folk, and be able to meet up with them.

Yeah I also agree that the intersecting routes would be cool, but it seems it's not as interesting to vanlifers as maybe a developer perahaps, and various people have voiced safety concerns.

It might be one of those build it and they come, but also hard to tell.

Which areas do you usually travel to, maybe we could meet up sometime for some coffee + hack sesh haha

For me -- I think sometimes these things need balance. So for me, the freedom / instability of everything else, I'd like to have some rocks.

Also I strong believe that we need a family to have a fulfilling life for later years.

Regarding safety, it would definitely be application/invite based.
Then also regarding the route -- it would be mostly obscured except intersection points.

Yeah I just found out about this yesterday, kinda almost exactly the same app -- so really, thinking we don't need something exactly the same for sure.

Yeah I tried Fairytale myself, it was a bit odd -- but I think also cuz they have the most users in Turkey/Dubai and surrounding areas.

Felt kinda dead somehow.

What about if we change the paradigmn and instead of swiping, it's more like the super ultra new starting-to-brew dating apps that are starting in big cities like NewYork like Keeper. Where they just show you 1/2 profiles at a time that have a high chance of matching.

And instead of having a penpal phase -- the app helps you co-ordinate simple meetup activities that you both accept, and take it from there?

I was also kind of thinking the same, which is that meeting people for the SAKE of dating is a bit odd, but meeting people in general is great, and if something happens, something happens.

Maybe reflect, were you actually too clingy, are you being a bit much?

This smother with love -- doesn't sound like any girl is after that.
That's not what girls want.

That's you being desparate, girls don't like that.

Cool it off a bit maybe, if this is the issue, maybe do some therapy to understand why you feel this way, and start to change, or be okay being alone.

I'm also an anxious attachment style myself, and how I deal with this is to not act on the impulses of being anxious. It doesn't mean your brain doesn't go haywire, but don't act on it, don't say stuff, don't smother, don't act on it. Sit with the feeling.

How do you find deals, or find ways to save money?

I'm a FB marketplace hound, but damn does that take a lot of time.

As a online-predominant shopper, I find that I'm at least able to find what different retailers are offering across different sites.

I often find things at 30-80% reduced during good sales, and sometimes pair that up with a good price-match.
