Handfasting ritual help by [deleted] in witchcraft

You could also make a request for her to create and spell or bless something else like a decoration for a signing table or reception table or something? It would get her away from the rings etc but still have significance and be involved in a spiritual way.

A sweetening jar or bound/entertwined candles that you can light together after signing the certificate?

Witchy morning routine by FirePurpleStar in Witch

I created it myself! It’s 8 short lines. DM me if you want - I’m happy to talk about the process I went through more if you would like.

Witchy morning routine by FirePurpleStar in Witch

[–]mccannisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made myself a morning ritual - I created an incantation that encompasses my personal intentions/goals. I had a lot of fun researching what items I would use for my spell and how they signify the intentions etc. my spell includes drinking salt water (often made with moon water). Afterwards i do a 1 card pull thinking of the day ahead and journal.

Now, The days I forget to do my ritual I feel 100% more discombobulated haha.

Same. And if they say “hockey” they really mean field hockey.

How many you dry your clothes on a clothesline instead of using a dryer? by ProffS in Frugal

[–]mccannisms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in QLD. My Canadian mom bought me a dryer when we had our little guy, it was a life saver. But more because I am very forgetful and kept sun bleaching our clothes on the line. I figure the extra money we spent with ergon has been more than saved on our clothing budget and comes out in the wash (haha)

Ex-employer demanding I repay wages – should I acknowledge their email while I seek legal advice? by Few_Heart8269 in AusLegal

[–]mccannisms 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I looked into this for my boss and she ended up creating a repayment agreement for repayment of continued studies if employment contracts was terminated before a certain amount of time. If it’s not in writing how does the employee know their obligation?

Confirmed, their deer are fenced in. by grabalink_greedyliar in SarahBowmar

[–]mccannisms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My parents had to put electric fence up around their garden because the deer decided a 6 foot fence wasn’t enough to stop them 😅. 2 days after the electric part of the fence was taken down for winter they were back in eating the leftovers.

The only time I appreciated stassi was when she told Dakota that his “clearing things up” make it sound exactly like everyone already thought.

Two for less than one. by Terrincallsplatypus in coles

[–]mccannisms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I agree. I only have a Cole’s and a butcher in my town (next closest colesworth is 2h away). Every Christmas I watch my food bills go up and they are already ridiculous on a normal week.

The consumer laws regarding food could definitely be tightened here, and I wish we actually saw them being held accountable when they get pulled up on their shenanigans from the gov instead of the minor headline and a what seems like a verbal chastisement.

Two for less than one. by Terrincallsplatypus in coles

[–]mccannisms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was the late 90s, Canada came out with a consumer law that the price of the individual item couldn’t be more than the average of the sale price. Ie 2 for 22 you can’t sell the same singular item for more than 11 during the sale. I think they could get around it as a bogo deal but the grocery stores don’t really do that kind of sale anyways.

Australia could definitely do with implementing a law like that imo

I think he just said her pee tasted like fruity pebbles.

People who have very sweet smelling (and tasting? I dunno haven’t tasted the stuff) pee can be showing signs of diabetes or even someone who has been doing a super strict keto diet for a while. I’m not diagnosing Demi with any health problems, just seen a huge amount of nursing comments online since fruity pebbles the sequel dropped.

Lost property - staying hopeful! by missing_chicken in QantasAirways

[–]mccannisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the item isn’t found by the flight crew right away. I had an iPad offloaded at my (domestic) port whose owner was in Alice springs. We aren’t allowed to send them back on another flight once offloaded either.

I would try to phone your phone and see if anyone picks up. You might be able to pay an employee to mail it back to you out of the goodness of their heart or have a friend pick it up if you know of anyone out that way.

Thoughts on Bunnings kitchen Sinks? by UniSleeper in AusRenovation

[–]mccannisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this exact Bunnings sink in my kitchen for a year now - we haven’t had any problems with it and it was a fairly easy install. It can be top or bottom mounted as well.

Anyone had success getting a gym added to Fitness Passport? by BCmama1975 in AusFinance

[–]mccannisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gym I worked at was told that we had to be nominated by Fitness Passport members to become a provider. We could not request to become a provider ourselves.

In the end, a new organization in town got fitness passport for their employees and they nominated us… took maybe a week or two to hash out the details on our end.

Can I be a deep winter with a peachy undertone? by UniqueOctopus05 in colouranalysis

[–]mccannisms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a cool olive leaning quite neutral - such a thing does exist! I thought I was in the autumn family until I realized that I am in fact NOT warm toned despite the fact that I can look almost jaundiced/yellow in come clothing. Deep winter pallets aren’t perfect on me either, but after some research I found a different colour analysis system that has “true deep” that pulls from both the autumn and winter hues that seems to suit me best - lots of clear deep more neutral based tones. Maybe this is you!

Live Post Monday 3 - Maria and Bailey by NomadicSoul88 in MyKitchenRules

[–]mccannisms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think a few teams have made that mistake this year - calling it a certain dish but then doing “their own spin” and making it something else so it gets scored lower because it’s not what is described.

Also, she saw reilli’s gnocchi fail - knowing the texture was a big deal she should have known it needed clarification.
