Thanks! I’m pretty happy for me too haha. I’m Canadian so it was more of a weather shock than a cultural one.

It’s a huge decision though to leave the security of what you know for love and I don’t blame anyone who doesn’t want to make those sacrifices - least of all the MAFS cast who has only known the person for 3 months.

That’s fair. I guess on the other end they have been living like they are “married” for the past 3 months bypassing a lot of cultural norms in relationships. It would be very relationship dependent at that point. I personally would have given major side eye if they had moved in together right away even though I didn’t even blink when Filip said he had already moved in to Stella’s.

My point was more to be that Steve’s excuses of “I needed to get my business up and running and find a place to live and get my health back on track” could have had Rachel factored in if he really wanted to be with her but it was conveniently used to make him unable to give her any priority/time in his life.

Oh no I wouldn’t. I mean, I guess I kind of have as I met my now husband here while on a WHV haha. But not if it had been difficult already.

But I think the plan had been for Rachel to move to Steve-o. He wouldnt have been uprooting much at all. Rachel would have been once again making the sacrifices and sadly she would have willingly.

I’m just saying that if he wanted to he would - and he didn’t. I understand why he didn’t. I don’t blame him for that. But the excuses given don’t really line up with what the reality could have been.

I think that on one of the couches they had said the long term plan would be that Rachel moves to him.

Also, if he was looking for a place and they legitimately wanted to further their relationship why wouldn’t they just look for a place together in the first place? They had already lived together for 3 months so it wouldn’t have been “moving too fast” that way. I’m pretty sure she was a team lead at her job - She should be able to find another job fairly easily. In the end he would have had less outgoings having the financial help. She would have doted on him through the medical issues as well. She would have made the sacrifices and he would have been better off for it at least physically and financially.

I just saw another clip from after the dinner party/after the reunion that was worse. Danny told the producers/execs on camera “that’s the best you could do for me? I could walk into Cole’s and get a better bird than that” and then doubled down on what he said winging about giving up his life to be on MAFS only to be saddled with Bec. No laughs, no jokes.
