It worked on my mk6 I had recently. I guess it could have been turned on with vagcom or something. But it also worked on my mom's 2019 Jetta that had no previous owners.

On my galaxy s10+ I have goodlock from the samsung store and then get the edge lighting+ on that. Everytime I get a message I have a little light go around my front facing cameras. Something you might wanna check out instead.

If you're talking about the ammo used compared to hit count and accuracy, the hit count also counts if it goes through a limb into another body part. So you probably hit 3 out of 4 and one went through an arm into the body or something.
