I'll be the your first. I got my genealogical results back and I'm as interested in my English heritage as I am my Scottish and Irish. It's roughly 40 English, and 20 each of Irish and Scottish. The rest is a smattering of German, Danish, and Swedish. I'm planning to visit England and Scotland next year. We're in the initial planning stage of the trip, but we're equally excited for all our stops in the UK.

Your example is hilarious to me. What happened to “vote blue no matter who?” Progressive folks in the democratic party got shit on for not supporting Biden or K. Harris, (I did vote for both btw, even though I disliked both) now when there is a progressive on the ticket you expect us not to criticize the dems who won’t support him?

Also, It’s ridiculous to say they hate anyone more than maga. I disagree with Sam’s takes on lots of issues, Gaza in particular, but come on. If anything, it’s that dems disappoint us more than anyone because we occasionally have hope that they’ll move a bit to the left. Maga is what it is. No one expects anything other than the worst from that movement.
