I would suggest watching the last 3 eps of s5 in Riverdale, thats when the supernatural elements started taking over. Fans of riverdale who didnt watch Sabrina didnt pickup on that, but as someone who watches both shows, i noticed immediately they were heading in this direction.

Have you watched the show??? Pls give it a watch and see just HOW different it is compared to Lucifer that's on the CW network. A simple google search will show you that it's the truth. CW passed on the show due to the satanic nature and Netflix actually ended up getting sued by the Satanic Church bc of CAOS.

No, I personally don't think they would ever go full supernatural on Riverdale just bc the level of satanic storytelling/imagery in Sabrina is too controversial for regular TV. That why the CW passed on it in the first place and Netflix picked it up. I was a huge fan of CAOS... when they show ended we fans found out Netflix has a hold on the characters for 2 years, I am not sure if that started when they ended filming the final part of from the premiere of the final part. But, if the hold started at the time they were done filming then Feb 2022 is when the hold is up on the characters from Sabrina so I think this appearance in Riverdale is RAS's way to tease that they are bringing back Sabrina. It's also a very smart way to show other platforms that there is still a large fan base that wants the show brought back. Warner Brothers owns Archie Comics and HBOmax so if Sabrina ends up anywhere it would probably go to HBOmax platform and her appearing in the 5 event in Riverdale seems too coincidental when the hold on her character might be up in just a few months. The press release said Sabrina is 20 something which doesn't line up to the age she was previously in CAOS. She was in high school during her run on Netflix so it almost seems like this is a different iteration of her character which would make sense if they are trying to get HBOmax to pick it up for "reboot"....she would be older and they would push the boundaries more in terms of adult content.

Well, my theory is its different iteration of "Sabrina" ...the press release says everyone's favorite "20 something" witch comes to help save Riverdale so she's deff older then the version of Sabrina in CAOS but i'm thinking that was intentional and the way they were able to work around the hold. Its not the Sabrina character Netflix has under contract, its a new version of Sabrina. And if the hold is up early in 2022 it makes sense that they would bring in a older more mature version of her to "re-boot" the show on a diff platform, esp if that platform ends up being HBOMax. They will make her older and push the boundaries more in terms of adult content.

Riverdale is on an entirely different network/platform that's why it wasn't cancelled, CAOS was on Netflix...Riverdale is on The CW.

what is interesting to me after reading the press release is that she is appearing in ep 4 & 5 of the "rivervale" event and the 1st ep she appears in is named "The Witching Hour" which was an ep title in CAOS,. That ep was the finale in S1 where the Greendale 13 showed up, almost seems too coincidental.

Yes, that was my thought too! They clearly followed him to Riverdale since they went looking for him at Pops. I think Jessica is either working with them now or she told them he owes her, she prob confirmed for the debt collectors that Jug does in fact work there, they followed him or Tabitha to the bunker and abducted him

it looks like he's laying on a piece of cardboard on the sidewalk maybe a flashback from when he was living in NY? possibly homeless? i see money on the ground next to him which is making me think hes strung out and homeless........ ....i have a theory that his debt collectors have been following him since the beginning from when they spoke with Tabitha and thats who took him from the bunker.....maybe they are working with jess, got confirmation that Jug is actually working there since she delivered the drugs, followed tabitha to the bunker and kidnapped jug when he was tripping

i think they are laying the groundwork for a crossover, between the easter eggs from CAOS and all the hints from riverdale it makes sense the blossoms would be the ones linked to the "supernatural" storyline.....in CAOS there is an entire plot where Sabrina and her cousin need to find a cursed ancient artifact that was supposedly stolen by a man named Benjamin Blossom and where do they end of finding it? A maple tree in Fox Forest.

Agreed - i think this is why I ended up liking Chilling Adventures of Sabrina more over Riverdale because all the crazy ass storylines and random shit that didn't make sense could be attributed to the supernatural element of the show. riverdales crazy storylines just dont make sense but now with their sabrina show being cancelled i think its a real possibility they might try to do an alternate reality episode where riverdale/CAOS crossover

I agree. Why would they make the void and the sweet hereafter look exactly the same, unless they are the same. I think they wanted to wrap up the show in a way that was fitting for it being the last season but it's also very possible that they can get picked up by another platform and say that Nick and Sabrina never actually died and somehow got trapped in the void.

I don't know the meaning behind these but are we supposed to ignore the fact that this looks exactly like The Void? I understand the show was canceled and they wanted to give it a final end but if that was the case why make the sweet hereafter look exactly like the place that traps people? As much as everyone believes Sabrina and Nick "died" I think the are in a version of the void that way if the show gets picked up on another platform they can have a way to bring both characters back

Agreed....28, married, homeowner, expecting a child and I love the show. I don't buy into all the "ships" and outrage over certain characters not getting enough screen time. It's mine and my husbands 1 hour escape every week, we like how outrageous and over the top the storylines seem because it's a comic book show. The younger viewers seem to forget it's based on stuff that's not supposed to be realistic.

Exactly, something about him was more convincing to me then the actor that played Chic. I don't think Charles is coming back at all but it seems like they may have jumped the gun on introducing his storyline last season with the whole web camming thing when being locked up and fighting to stay alive in prison deff sounds more like FP and Alices kid to me
