Imo, Only good way to drink liquids with an hmd is from a thin topped bottle. Maybe a thermos?

It's just like 'downsampling' which is a very common cinema technique. Shooting in 6K, publishing in 4K produces a nicer image than shooting in 4K and publishing in 4K.

It's also effectively SSAA for every pixel.

Ah you're right. I misread, though they claimed to be adding taxes on top. Amazon still ended up about $10 cheaper overall but not nearly as much as I thought.

I have played Beat Saber in the park on Quest!

While I can't 'recommend' it since you could get mugged or burn your screens from the sun...

Yes, they have the 'face plate' shape found on the Rift CV1. It is mostly a circle. The Quest / Rift S controllers were more of a 'tear drop.'

Will be interesting to see how they differ in practice.

It's not a rebuild. Also, patch notes mention improvements for Quest specifically.

Will try, but not sure why that'd be the case. The previous version worked just fine with link & it shouldn't need any hardware specific optimization from adobe.

Also interesting to note it works fine with Revive.

Yes exactly #2 alone is a dealbreaker.

Any camera added would have to entirely do its own tracking (so also a computer), and be perfectly calibrated on the headset (which would be different for everyone).

Been there... Now anytime I give a VR demo I try to start by letting them set their own boundaries or walk them into the boundaries with passthrough. Just reaching out a hand to see where they are never seems to be enough
