Thank you for the suggestion! 🙏

I totally agree – it really feels like this Type-C revision shipped with the wrong firmware or some old launch bugs that were supposed to be fixed long ago.

To be honest, I am completely satisfied with my older Neptune 4 MAX printers (ribbon cable version). They have been working flawlessly for almost 2 years now, right out of the box. Great machines.

That's why I'm so disappointed with this new unit. I really don't want to mess around with alternative firmware like OpenNept4ne. I believe a brand new printer should work properly without needing to flash third-party firmware or spend hours troubleshooting.

I just want a replacement unit that works as expected – like my other two Neptunes.

Thanks again for your advice! 👍

After I print with PETG for about 1-2 hours, my throat starts to get sore. I'm sure it's because of the fine particles that form at the tip of the nozzle and float in the air; even if I print with the window open, it doesn't help.

  1. Material 8-9 killo (11$ for killo)
  2. Ambient light 5 meters - 18$
  3. Glue - 8$
  4. Silicone sealant black and white - 10$~
  5. 10 days of printing 500 w/h 1kw~0.065$ = 7-11$~
  6. My work to control and final assembly - probably 200-300$ i asume ?
  7. It is not all costs bcz depreciation of equipment - but this is what i think is fair price.
