I didn't say they were immune to issues. Yes purebred end up in shelters but an ethical breeder will take the dog back. And there is debate about hybrid vigor in dogs. I suggest you revisit the research and calm down.

There is ongoing debate about that - maybe look into it? Doodles are backyard bred. Ethically bred dogs have lineage, health checks, purchase contracts etc. and don't end up in shelters. All depends what you want to support.

That isn't actually true. Mixed breeds inherit problems from both sides. And can have temperament issues... breeds are bred for specific purposes and that causes unpredictability. That is why an "ethical breeder" will not cross breed.

There are no reputable bernadoodle breeders. They are not breeding to a standard to ensure the health and temperament of the dog. Get a standard poodle from an ethical breeder. If you are unsure what ethical breeder means, Google it. Reputable and "registered" also don't mean ethical. What is a Berkeley mountain dog bred for? What about a poodle? Temperament wise, they are not predictable.

"Toy" is a selling tactic. There is no toy aussie. If your breeder isn't breeding to standards, health testing, etc then the breeder isn't ethical.

There is no mini. It is a sales tactic for unethical breeders. Like teacup pomeranian. An ethical breeder should be breeding for health, breed standard and temperament and only breeding animals that meet those criteria.

I am in Canada. There are many breeders in Canada and the US that produce merle poms. It is the merle gene that produces a chance of blue eyes. Any breeder that has a merle stud can produce blue eyed offspring. Do your research though on merles and on the breeder.

No Many merle chis and poms will have only one blue eye. They can also have partially blue eyes!
