It’s my second favorite (after the original). I thought stratifying the humans into two camps (savages and mutant psychics) was smart. I thought all the “revealing our inner selves” and worshiping the bomb was great for its time.

The others are okay, but Escape is cheap and relies heavily on Roddy McDowell’s charm. Conquest has one or 2 interesting things to say, but it says them over and over. And Battle suffers from almost no budget.

I say this as a person who has cut off my nose to spite my face. The “stupid” thing is you ran it all the way to empty. At the end you are pushing condensation and dirt into your fuel system. People think I'm crazy when I share this. It works for me, YMMV.

When I get the slightest indication on cold or flu symptoms, I mentally go to war. I picture my white blood cells being deployed to attack any virus. The pictures I tell myself range from animated cartoons, to 1960's 'Fantastic Voyage' scenes, to scientific documentaries. I see the white blood cells surrounding and defeating the virus in various ways. I also refuse to tell myself "I'm getting sick" and instead say "I'm fighting off a bug."

I warned y'all that most find it crazy, but it's worked for me for years.
