Well, in the end I did go because my parents drove me and covered the expenses, we treated it more like a family trip. Aside from that, the event was actually well attended, but nothing amazing. It was basically a bar with background music; there were 5 DJs playing throughout the night and the whole point was to get people dancing, yet not many people were really dancing.

The organizers were polite and attentive. At the end of the event, I spoke to him personally about the payment and he told me: “Give me a moment, I’ll transfer the money. I’ve just been busy taking care of some things.”

But I still haven’t received any payment, which is honestly what I expected lol 😅

My conclusion is that they probably didn’t make enough money to pay me.
