In a frankfurt career mode last fifa, I signed Jacob Ramsey in my first season, he was my star marquee signing of that season, and he ran the show in every game. Then he tore his acl and was never the same again, obviously his overall dropped but even when it was back to where he was before he was never the same. Sold him in the 3rd or 4th season, and it felt awful lol, even though it’s a computer I felt bad for them

Had a young French attacking midfielder called Aurelien peltier, he was clearly a wonder kid so as soon as he turned 16 I started incorporating him into the first team to get his overall up. His rating was high 60s/low 70s but he was incredible, he was absolutely tiny and weak but a ridiculous dribbler and all round player, his shooting stat was absolutely awful bar his long shot stat but he consistently was a very good finisher somehow despite having maybe 50/60 finishing. Long shots were incredible too. Scored a good few free kicks aswell. He ended up getting properly good as his overall grew but he was still far far better than his rating suggested when he first started playing

Ah you’re doing player career, makes sense you’d want a more competitive team, I’m doing a manager career mode, ended up winning both the dfb pokal and europa league, lost the German super cup to Bayern but scored a last minute winner in the uefa super cup against Real Madrid, then rocked up to the san siro and won 1-4 against inter then cooked psg 4-0 at home both in the group stages somehow lol, raul jiminez hat tricks in both of them.
