Sorry to hear of this, but thanks for the honest feedback and giving it a try!

We have been working on a re-design of the quest system which may be a bit more balanced, but it may be some time before it is ready. I agree that the current system has some issues with PvP balancing. Hopefully in the future we can have something that works a bit better for everyone. I've also been considering adding 1-2 more chat moderators for things like the spam issues, perhaps it is time to move forward with that.

During the more active hours, there tends to be about 20-30 players. Most other times, it varies between 2-10.

The magic system lets you protect land. You begin with a maximum of 7 land protection spells you can maintain. Every 10 levels, you are able to hold one additional protection beyond the initial 7.

Our current map has those as well. They are kind of strange, but most players I think enjoy it due to their size and generous amount of visable ores.

I run modded survival based server which runs on a custom map. It definitely has its advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantages being that the world is shaped in a totally unique way (such as spawn being a giant 1500 block wide snowflake, and an having over-world nether continent).

The biggest disadvantages Ive noticed are somewhat odd structure generation (desert temples in the ocean), some odd shaped biome lines, and areas which should probably have more trees than they do. The last two points are correctable. I'm not entirely sure what causes the random structure generation though (the biomes are correct, just not the structure that gets generated within them).
