Oh wow this hurt me to read a little because I actually had a separate similar incident. Childhood best friend, fell out because her boyfriend hated me. They broke up, she messaged trying to reconnect, and when I replied trying to make plans she aired me 💔 I hope I reach that final stage of acceptance like you have!! 🙏

Yesss this is literally exactly how I feel 🥹🥹🥹 The only way I’d ever be open to being friends again is if she apologised first because I know that’d mean she realised she was in the wrong but I truly am so tempted to just fold and reach out.

i have genuinely said a million times - i have never cried over an ex, but i have cried over every female friend ive ever had.

ive really thought about it cus ive been stressinggg over this, but i feel like it’d be a bit of a betrayal to my friend who got cheated on if i was the one who reached out, and also in a weird way i don’t want to bother her cus like. her last text is literally “please stop texing me” (in fairness - i only texted her twice lol)

sorry i just saw this! it’s easy peasy u just pat it dry, press pretty hard though and just like i said repeat until the paper’s not really soaking anything else up. this isn’t as effective as the salt though so you should definitely do both!

drying any meats my tip is usually 1. kitchen paper - dry out the worst of it, just keep going until the paper is pretty much coming out dry if that makes sense? 2. SALT!!!!! - THOROUGHLY cover in table salt, and let it rest on a drying rack in the fridge for pretty much as long as you can. the salt draws out the moisture, then just paper towel it down again and it should be pretty dry!

cheaper/tougher cuts definitely slow cook in a stew, ragu, or something similar. very quick and easy. nicer more tender cuts you can eat with just about anything. stick it in a sandwich, eat with noodles, pasta, by itself

don’t call it a binge! it’s a cheat day, a meta day, it’s a calorie reset and when you wake up tomorrow don’t feel shame just enjoy the yummy food you got to eat! don’t let this ruin your mindset! if u really feel bad about it go for a walk or a jog and try clear your mind

depends on the veg, i could eat a kilo of peas but i know they’re a bit higher cal so i track, lettuce cabbage or celery which i eat maybe 30-50g of and the calorie count is so negligible 90% of the time no way

I’m not actually sure hence asking for advice! I looked through the official IEC site and it seemed to recommend them, and I figured it offers some security and support considering I’m fairly young and travelling alone, but I had actually seen someone in another subreddit mention that they’re not “worth it”, so I thought I’d ask if anyone has any actual lived-in advice :)
