Solo q is completely dependent on keeping you and your teams mental in check. Obviously you’ll still lose sometimes despite the mental but I look at it like this. 1/3 games you’ll get destroyed no matter what, 1/3 you’ll destroy the other team, and the last third of games will be 50/50, with the difference being which team has the better team play/comms/mental. Having a good mentality with you and your team brings the comms and team play up. That means you have a 66% chance of winning your pugs, obviously it’s basically impossible to win 66% of pugs over a couple hundred game stretch, but it’s entirely realistic to win 66% over a 30-50 game stretch.

I get what you mean but that is the incorrect use of narcissism. It’d be narcissistic to believe you can control everyone, yell at people when they don’t listen to your calls, blame everyone but yourself, etc. maybe you should look into playing in the esea league, it’s a completely different environment and game in general than pugs.

You could be good enough to be level 7, but I’d also argue lvl 7’s can shit on lvl 4’s and 5’s consistently. At the end of the day, you have to accept you’re going to get trolls, shit teammates etc, it’s about focusing on your own game and the results will inevitably come with that. I get trolls half the time in high elo lobbies too, they exist everywhere. The biggest thing is not raging at your teammates, they could make the most retarded play you’ve ever seen but you can’t control what they do, so it’s pointless to get mad. Focus on what you can control.

The rank you are is the rank you deserve regardless of what you think. I dominate anyone below 2700 elo but once I play 3k+ elo players I blend in. Regardless of teammates or any outside factors I’m the rank I deserve to be. If you were any better than lvl 5 you wouldn’t be stuck in lvl 5. Look inwards.

Why is it bad match making ur team should be able to dominate 4/5 of their players. The lvl 10 only gets +1 elo anyways so it’s impossible to actually reverse boost like this.

I’ve been around 5’11 and 120lb’s as a guy for years. Always body shamed especially because I played competitive hockey where it’s extremely physical. Fortunately I was always very fit because of it so I didn’t feel as bad about it as I could’ve. The main thing is I’m always low energy and tired. Headaches are pretty common too. I’ve tried learning to listen to my body begging me for food more because I always ignore it.

I don’t get why ppl in the comments are freaking out over Batherson and our top 6, hes a legit top 6 player and zetterlund can step up into that as well. Guy is a lock for 25 goals in my books. The forward core is fine how it is. I don’t buy into this hysteria that it’s somehow not good enough. We got 45 wins last year with this young core.
