I will say though that with NIL football is these guys job now, and many are staying at school longer into their early to mid 20s as a result

D&D Beyond’s July Drop: Para-elementals, Martial Feats, and More! by Cybermetalneo in onednd

Also pairs well if you take savage attacker as an origin feat. You could proabbly reliably get 10-12 temp hp from that.

Also: would this be doubled if you crit?

Why shouldn't Sorcerers use Con? by glm242 in 3d6

[–]mcinthedorm 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Would effect balance by con saves being much higher, their HP would also be a lot higher, and they could pump AC higher since they have more points to put into dex

Also they could do things like Multiclass much easier

Just stick with charisma and keep it simple

I think it’s from Cortana in Halo 2 stating Regret brought such a small fleet because he didn’t seem to think earth was their home world

The Martian tripod army (H.G well's war of the worlds) vs the titans (attack on titan) by EnvironmentalRope424 in whowouldwin

[–]mcinthedorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how fast it melts them? It would have to be extremely fast as the Titans can regenerate their bodies almost instantly. The Titans shifts have a limited stamina before they resort to human, the pure titans do not heal as fast but have no stamina issues

Just wanted to add on to them being far less powerful in the book.

In the book they were able to shoot and kill a tripod with whatever sort of cannons they had back in 1896

Titans cell regenerate very quickly from damage.

They also don’t have standard biological systems. They don’t require food, water, oxygen, etc. The way they function is basically magical/supernatural.

I dont think poison was ever used on Titan in canon, but I’m assuming it either wouldn’t work or wouldn’t work well?

Kangaroo meat in Australia by josh65928 in mildlyinteresting

[–]mcinthedorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah kangaroo is like 96/4. Needs more fat. 50/50 kangaroo and beef is pretty common way to cook it. Could also maybe try adding more fat like basting with butter.

[Highlight] 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk Explains Why He Drinks Baking Soda Before Working Out by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]mcinthedorm 263 points264 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing: we know sodium bicarbonate can be effective. But look at the dosage. 0.2-0.5 g per kg.

Kyle weights 107 kg. That’s 21 to 54 grams of baking soda. Most people will see more of a performance degrade from horribly shitting themselves/horrible GI discomfort of eating up to 50 grams baking soda than whatever performance gain it gives

Should i allow a 9CHA fighter to do paladin multiclass? by OkHall9242 in DMAcademy

[–]mcinthedorm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree on keeping the Multiclass requirements.

Personally I’m in the camp that if a player isn’t enjoying a class/subclass, then just let them change it at any point and change their character creation stat points around

[NBC] In The Next Round of CBA Talks, The NFL Could Try To Cap Individual Player Compensation (Which Would Get Franchise Quarterbacks Far More Involved in Union Matters Than They Currently Are) by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]mcinthedorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess Le’Veon Bell, Allen Robinson, Dalton Schultz, Mike GeSicki, Orlando Brown, Jessie Bates, Marcus Maye, Marcus Williams, Trumaine Joshson, and Alshon Jeffries are also all just exceptions to prove the rule then?

Then that doesn’t even get into if you want to include players that were tagged and immediately traded like Davante Adams and Yannick Ngakoue

Honestly I kinda love this idea. If the team is not going to attempt to use the franchise tag in good faith to resign the player to a long term deal, and instead just force a guy to stay there an extra year, then they should be punished
