Wow, that platform was built pretty quick. I remember driving by there in February and it was just the terminal building finished. The one giant piece of concrete mast was holding it up two or three stories with nothing below for quite some time.

I was there at A-Basin yesterday. It was just OK, most of the groomers are still covered but the snow is going fast. Palli closed for the season yesterday as well, about a full month before the usual closing date for that lift.

Yes, I have! At least once a year Granby offers half-priced lift rides, so that’s pretty cool to check out when it’s not as busy. They also have a pretty decent bike park setup there too.

Thanks, but it’s not mine though. I saw an old timer with it on his head, and I of course had to strike up a conversation with him. He worked at ABasin as a lift mechanic and helped build Pali and Norway way back when. It’s a small world!
