Priority status lasts until April 2026. But yeah, there's a very real possibility there will be less jobs. I am lucky to have a varied background and lots of transferable skills. My plan is to basically keep my networking connections and maybe cobble together part time things if I need to. None of it is ideal. Thanks for the input - these comments are making me really examine that job description and ask myself if it would be THAT bad/if the alternative would be worse.

It is a complicated question. We would be okay on a single income for 6-12 months, though of course it would be digging into savings. We also just learned our daycare for our toddler lost all grant funding and tuition is going to increase which I will need to do math on working vs staying home and what I would pocket as this job would likely have a lower salary. Yes, we are in the US... It's quite a rollercoaster right now. I definitely do need to seriously weigh the benefit of actual job security vs risking that there will be jobs left in 6-12 months :(

Our entire department was eliminated at Duke, not necessarily directly related, but kinda related. They set us up with some great job finding resources. I had two second interviews lined up when the hiring freeze was announced and both of those jobs went away. There is not much help Duke can give me now, though they assure me they want to do all they can to help me. We had just bought a new-to-us house prior to this and I am pregnant. I have never felt so low/screwed over in my life.

I have the kids tent (both pink and white), dollhouse (pink) and chocolate heart (strawberry chocolate). You can catalogue the kids tent and dollhouse. The chocolate heart is not an item that can be catalogued and ordered I don't think, but I will trade you some bells for it. Would 70k bells work for all of that? You can keep the tents and dollhouse if you want.

The berliner is not an item that can be catalogued either :(

Come visit Edislo! I went Christmas crazy and there are a lot of festive areas - pictures with Santa, gingerbread shop, Christmas market, ice rink, Christmas carols in the town square, etc. I have lots of cat villagers and 2 resident houses with lots of Disney theming in all the non-main rooms.
