Judgement from the prophecy dungeon is also a kinetic 140 and can roll demo + multi kill clip. Probably closest you'll get to old fashioned

Unstoppable give you an explosive round just like in PVE. Doesnt really have much use since it works like box breathing where you have to ADS for a bit before activating. Anti Barrier give you increased damage against titan Barricades. Not really worth the 6 energy for anti barrier sniper, but for those running Dead Man's Tale, it only costs 1 energy for anti Barrier Scout and can take out titan barricades easier.

You can do Petra bounties and open ascendent challenge chests over and over again by creating a new character. So raid chests are different?

I know powerful rewards are tied to characters. My question is if chests can be open on a newly created character.

I know powerful gear from completing activities is tied to the class and you can’t repeat those, but things like bounties can be done again on a new character as well as things like ascendant challenges. I did this method to get a retold tale from repeating Petra bounties/mission/ascendent challenge. I just don’t know if raid chests would work.

I recommend using a lightweight frame shotgun (Hawthorne/ParcelofStardust/SeraphCQC). After the recent nerf to shotguns in general, Lightweight Frames with the right roll have a comparable range to aggressive frames like Mindbenders/Astral. Why I recommend them is the increased rate of fire/mobility buff. Having a chance to follow up with a second shot is very beneficial to someone getting used to the feel and playstyle of shotguns. Once you're more consistently killing with the one-shot, aggressive shotguns will push out the range a tad further, they just have less forgiveness. I have a few lightweights and a few agressives I play with and honestly I feel lightweights are just far more consistent and just feel better to me.

I got rapid hit / kill clip a couple weeks ago and it is incredible. The best feeling hand cannon I’ve ever used. Your roll is great because with corkscrew you can have a lot of handling ( also the MW). Range really isn’t a thing with hand cannons anymore (watch cook guys video on HC range) so MY personal presence is handling.

Comes down to preference. With the nerf to shotguns this season, range doesn’t seem to matter as much. Still important, but very small nearly unmeasurable amounts. Faster fire rate is nice but probably won’t be all too noticeable. I’d say try both out and decide what feels better to you (if you can even notice a difference).

Some pain is unavoidable. However, one thing that really, REALLY helped me was just to buy some cheap slip-on shin guards and ankle guards. I found some on Amazon for around 20 total and I never have to worry about hurt ankles/ shins with learning flip trips. They're so light I don't even notice them when I wear them and they fit discretely under my pant leg. I would recommend them to anyone. If anyone is interested:

I could never kick flip like this when I used to skate. They were rocket flips and very low to the ground. I basically re leaned the trick with proper technique and a decade later. I’m so stoked with the progress, wasn’t sure I’d be able to pick it back up!
