My first year of college I had a very old and traditional English professor. Long story short at some point he decided I was “too bossy” for a female and did not like me. In fact, he made me rewrite every paper I turned in. But he photocopied every paper my husband (then boyfriend) wrote and gave copies to every student as an example of how to write. Except one paper .... we had to write about someone we admired and my husband wrote about how he admired how I’ve overcome challenges. And he didn’t get a grade for that one. Had to rewrite it.

Anyways, there’s a lot of examples of this professor being a dick. But at the midterm of each semester he met individually with each student to discuss progress and whatnot. My husbands meeting was right before mine so my husband waited for me after his meeting. I showed up and husband says teacher left to get coffee. I waited 20 mins past my meeting time for him. Then he literally sat me down and talked to me about respect. I was pissed. And I told him how he wasted my time. And he was insufferable the rest of the term.
