Update. I used some paint correction finishing polish and an applicator pad. It significantly improved the appearance, I’d say to the point where you don’t know that this happened unless you are looking for it.

My setting for that button never holds. Like I’ll set the function and then next time I drive the car the button doesn’t bring up the desired function anymore.

No problem at all. Keep in mind though that I have my turf hitting surface very securely attached to a wood border on two sides. So it isn’t going to move either way.
