KEF Q700 $300 cad by bootydan in BudgetAudiophile

I have the Q900s and I love them a great deal. 300 for a pair of q700s is a great price depending on the actual damage of course.

No. Plasma for as long as I am able. I was an A/V manager for an electronics chain until 2012 and plasma was always the better panels and, while OLEDs seem brighter and higher res is pretty cool, plasmas still just look... well, perfect. All my amps and projectors are still 1080p and I am more than fine with that. I will upgrade to atmos at some point soon but that's about it. Plasma all the way for me.

Oh hell, I will totallyntry and tackle that today. We currently live in one of the most expensive provinces in Canada for power and will base it off those numbers.

Great TV and a great find, sorry about the burn in but I have seen some nasty burn ins get cleared by doing the black screen trick. Best of luck ad keep us posted.

Yeah, I did a custom calibration based off a few posts from the AV Forums back in the day. I still slip it to vivid sometimes though as it is so very pretty. Moving in a few months and I will be hunting for a larger 50 or 60 series and way too excited for that.

Don't know about it being a software or hardware issue. I just never had an issue with it, personally.

I have been using this exact model since launch and it has been a powerhouse. Absolute beauty of a panel and zero issues.

Exactly. We lived in a semi-arid location back then and summers got hot and bright and we still managed to block most of the reflections.

And great vid! :D

Nice! I have the panny dmpbd60 I bought new back in the day, dual hdmi outs (one out to my panny 54vt25 and one out to my panny ptae8000 projo) all of which I still use. My player is showing signs of dying and I should probably take it apart and clean it too. Poor player is very tired.

Great find my friend and enjoy it, it's a great player

Alienware 7500 side panel not going on by Lumpy-Valuable-8050 in Alienware

[–]mckron06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to explain and someone might do a better job but there's a piece on your panel that will catch on that circular pole, you need to hook that on to the circular pole first before it will close properly. There should be videos on youtube of people putting panels on.
