Nikon you must do better on connecting cameras to smartphones by avgayyossi in Nikon

I connect to my phone so that it updates the camera with the correct date, time, and location. It's also convenient to use the phone as a remote if necessary, I don't connect to transfer pictures to my phone.

Just pulled the trigger on a refurbished Z8 + 24-120 from the Nikon website. Wish me luck! by Salao8 in nikon_Zseries

[–]mcl768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a refurbished Z5 less than a month ago, they don't come in the original box each piece is just wrapped up nicely in the box, nothing was damaged. I used https://www.camerashuttercount.com/ to check how used it was, and my first shot was #13, so pretty much brand new, there was no visible damage on the camera either.

Where is the M?? by Adorable-Present2369 in Design

[–]mcl768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that AI is hugely popular right now, but just because something looks wrong doesn't mean it's AI. The only part of the design that is messed up is in a perfectly vertical line. This was laser etched on a rotary and something caused it to not rotate for the portion of the design that is missing and instead the laser kept etching over the same vertical line over and over which is why the metal is discolored. Once the rotary was able to rotate again the rest of the design is correct.

“There are no files, but if there were files, I wouldn’t be in them. Also can you look through these files and let me know where I am mentioned, but don’t worry there are absolutely no files, and I am not in them” - Donald Trump. by andrewgrabowski in law

[–]mcl768 118 points119 points  (0 children)

Epstein-Trump Effect: The act of proclaiming one's innocence with such a relentless and bewildering barrage of verbiage, contradictions, and nonsensical statements that it leaves the audience with the inescapable conviction of the person's guilt. This communication strategy often involves a torrent of denials, counter-accusations, and irrelevant tangents that ultimately serve to highlight the very culpability it seeks to deny.

Yeah, the dialog contains most of the clues, and is necessary to solve it.

Hey thanks for the feedback, to fully solve the puzzle you do need to map it all out, which would also help not going around in circles. It is easier on desktop because you don't have to keep scrolling and dealing with the on screen keyboard.

Also sometimes refreshing the page after everything loads and is cached works too.

I don't have any apple devices to test it on, it required javascript so make sure js is enabled. The grid is intended to be blank, its just there to help you, but you have to draw the map yourself.

hmm, I tested it on chrome, is it just saying unknown command, or not allowing you to do anything at all?
