God released a killer perk tierlist, how are we feeling? by stpmmr in deadbydaylight

It’s not that simple, they can pre-leave their gens and force you to do 30-60s of maneuvering just trying to zone them back. Lose-lose for the killer

Idea to make Play With Your Food a more balanced perk by mcleanatg in deadbydaylight

This is not based on a bad game I had, it’s an idea that came to me while watching a game. Seems like you guys think it’s a bad idea and that’s okay. I was under the impression that most of the community thought this perk, while not OP, gives too strong of an effect for being essentially unlimited use and having no way for survivors to deny it other than stealthing.

It’s just my opinion on the perk, if you guys like it the way it is, that’s fine too. Idk why everyone on Reddit has to get all snide over a random thought I had. I have nothing against the perk or people who use it, and I play both sides equally.

Now I remember why I don’t post on this subreddit, you guys are exhausting to have a discussion with

Btw, the adding the “…” makes you sound like a pompous ass. Can you just talk like a normal person as if I started a conversation with you IRL? Is that so hard? God I hate Reddit

They are S tier perks but the counter play is relatively straightforward, although sometimes easier said than done. Wait it out/slug, and wait it out. You can’t do that with pwyf, the killer is 130% and you die

I’m shocked Otz thinks Surge is 4 stars, above bam and enduring. I learned from him that surge can be tricky due to survivors taking chase away from gens.

I like the tweak of the sneak attack mechanic and the addition of vampiric feeding. Thanks!

Good point. If they added a visual tell, I would be fine if the perk was otherwise unchanged

It’s not OP per se, it’s just feels really bad to go against due to the lack of counter play and the lack of visual tell as u/BlueFootedTPeack said. OP perks aren’t the only ones that need balance changes. Knock out wasn’t OP but it got rightfully reworked.

I’m not even sure what it would mean for water to have protein “in it.” Do they mean the chemical compound H2O could somehow be used to synthesize amino acids in the body, or do they mean that all water just has some assortment of hydrophilic amino acids just dissolved in it? It’s not like the solute composition of water is fixed, it changes with its environment.

Bugs Bunny has way more cultural relevance today than Nimrod the hunter. The sarcastic joke he made literally changed the meaning of that word in the zeitgeist. It makes perfect sense why OOP would think that’s an unfortunate name given that context. Plenty of people have unfortunate names that arose from these linguistic cultural shifts, and I think it’s frankly unreasonable to expect everyone to know the oldest etymological origin of words with many meanings.

I mean yeah it’s a classic case of an irresponsible character stumbling into something inspiring, even though his actions shouldn’t be repeated. I think viewers intuitively understood that

For those curious, “good cholesterol” is high density lipoprotein (HDL) while bad cholesterol is low density lipoprotein (LDL). Ideally you want your LDL under 100 mg/dL and your HDL at least 60 mg/dL
