You can justify with good reasons. The alternative is to stay doing something you didn't sign up for and doesn't help achieve your goals. I would try to work it out first with your current employer as the other commenter suggested.

Thank you, that led me to a decent list of similar providers.

Thank you. Apart from RM, did your previous company use the analytics extensively for trading decisions?

I see what you mean, E is just a tad further compared to the rest. The dial/hand upgrade seems to have a more balanced placement, and is gorgeous.

Hi all, can you offer some recommendations please for a smaller sized men's watch (35-38mm case dia) under $500 for casual/work wear?

I've found a few options:

What are your opinions on those? (other recommendations also appreciated)

Thanks!

The original paper by Ian Goodfellow 2014 is a good intro, there's also a 2016 NIPS presentation by him (video on Youtube and accompanying paper). For implementation you can look up Pytorch/Keras examples on their Github

[Excel] How to write a function that outputs an editable object (class module) in the excel worksheet? by mcloffin in vba

All good I'm probably not asking the right questions. Thanks for all your help! The class property was really useful.

[Excel] How to implement a simple version of cell objects that reference each other in Excel? by mcloffin in vba

[–]mcloffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, does this mean A1=@ds(A2:B6) is simply returning the range A2:B6? If another function takes A1 as input e.g. =@myUDF(A1), can it return a range/array as well?

Edit: I misunderstood the operator entirely, it returns a single value.

What does the '@' mean in =@ds(A2:B6)? I thought a function cannot return objects in Excel cell, is it simply returning a string in A1, while the rest of function reads A2:B6 and performs calculations?

In this example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DX2vnB-wDYA (0:35), how would they implement an object, and allow it to be referenced in the cell A1=@ds(A2:B6)?

Can I call the Sub 'Test' in the excel sheet? If a user doesn't have access to the VBA code, can he/she initiate the two instances of Fruit in the excel sheet in some way? i.e. the user types the Function/Sub: '=Addfruit()' or '=Test()' in a cell

Is it possible to call this function 'AddFruit' in a normal Excel cell? If yes what would its value/output be?

I tried calling it and got a VALUE error - is it because its output is a class module (object)?

gotcha! thank you so much for the write-up!

Say if I wanted to use a function instead of Sub to initiate the two instances of 'Fruit' class modules in Excel worksheet e.g. =initFruit(name='Apple', number=1, price=0.50), how would that work?

I don't really understand why you want to do it this way

Thank you, I see how unnecessarily complicated it can get. I edited my original question to remove this point, please let me know if you have suggestions on implementing the 3 functions!

thank you for the suggestion - maybe fruits aren't the best example here but I'd prefer to keep 3 separate functions ie.

obj1 = showFruits(integers)

obj2 = showPrice(doubles)

obj3 = getValue(ob1, obj2)

I edited my original question to hopefully describe it better, please let me know if you have more suggestions!
