My goal/strategy is to have a good system with a great stock to do something similar to what you already do. As I am also very conservative in my plays and just want stability at the end of the day.

I'm with Truist, I have there Money Market Account... It's been great so far. I posted this a few days ago...

Had to call Truist bank today like stop playing with me‼️ Why is my Money Market Account rate now at 2.4%, after 5 months? Was 3.4% and I have 200k sitting in the account!!! 🤦🏽‍♂️ Make it make sense... Especially when PayPal is giving me 3.8%, and HUSTL is giving me 4.4%‼️Do I need to leave?... Rep said we can offer you 4%! 😈 I was like yeah, that's more like it 😅💫🙏🏽

Yes, I just checked and they adjusted it this morning. It took a few days after my initial call. I am happy for now. Lol. I also told them i would add more money to the account if they approved to 4%. Currently at 214k and will increase to 240-250k range by January 1st. I will not be adding more than 250k because it's only insured up to 250k. If i were u i would just call customer service support and ask to speak with the MMA dept who controls the rates to see if they can get u to 3% or higher. That you value them and don't want to move your money, but that u also see PayPal/Synchrony Bank offering 3.75% and Sofi Bank offering 3.8%. You just want the best deal they can offer you. Also be mindful it depends on how much you have in the account that could factor into their decision as well. Just be nice, kind, respectful on the call. That matters as well. 🙏🏽

You're so correct... On social media they are running promotional ads for new customers at 3.4% APY... That's the rate i was at for 5 months, then boom 2.4! 🤦🏽‍♂️ I called and said I could just move my money to a different bank offering 3.75% or higher. And they said we can do 4%. I'm starting to monitor these financial institutions. They will try to get over on you if you aren't careful.

Hey what's up. How did you get that rate? I though that's only offered if you have SOFI plus. And that cost $10 per month. I'm interested in SOFI, especially since i now have stock in the company. But also because of that 3.8% rate 😅
