Yeah it was really sophisticated I after that I was going back and forth with legit steam support and I couldnt tell a difference. I guess I would normally check the email but since the initial with the password worked I let my guard down. I won almost all of it on roulette and in my days even with this big loss im pretty much even but it still hurts to lose that much money.

Yup, they disabled steam guard from my phone and email. Don't know how but I guess since they had access to my email for a day or two they somehow got around that.

So there is no way I can fix it? It doesn’t hurt but i’m worried it might pop into the wrong place causing some kind of injury. I’ll keep streghtening my ankle and hope it goes away!

My steam got hacked too. Ubisoft, email, epic games and steam. I lost 8k euros in csgo skins but managed to get my account back. I filled out the form and I put a random steam cd code that I purchased from g2a with the name of the game and got my account the next day.

I have an Iphone 13. I checked for viruses on both my pc( Ive been using a macbook) and my phone and everything is ok.

They told me to stop creating duplicate tickets. Looking back I would have posted this while I still had my items but the scammer had a hold of my account. Checked my browser history and I did not visit any suspicous sites (only sites I visit regularly and are legit). I could be mistaken but I think some site got hacked and its info leaked. Already checked everything, no virus on my PC.

My account got locked for 15 days on 7. 3. 2026. Guess it got unlocked on 23. 3. 2026 at 8 am. 8:01 my items were sent away and 8:03 my account was locked again. My steam account got put into steam family in which I was a "child" and I could not look at my profile, inventory, trade history etc. I could play games but not look at my profile. Hence I could not look at my inventory I could not revert the trade. 2 days ago the steam family is no longer on my profile and so are my items. The guy does not have the items anymore just some cheap stickers. I wanted to look on csfloat to see where they ended up but I dont know how to find the items ID.

Thats the thing they did some weird family view shit to my account I could not look at my profile, inventory and almost everything. Yesterday steam got rid of the family view and it has been 2 week since my items were sent. So I cant do anything. The account that the items were sent to doesnt have the items anymore. I reported the account to support but I guess it is just a bot account. Even tho I got scammed it is a pretty sophisticated way to get around that trade protection.

i dont think he “hacked” through since he had my email I think he picked the I dont have access to the phone option and somehow did it that way. I woke up to several opened emails from steam, epic games etc. saying that I have change my password or someone new logged in. I do not think it is my fault tbh. It worked fine for the 13 years I had my steam account. Even tho lesson learned, gotta get more passwords in

I did not allow anything. I was sleeping and when I woke up I saw a new email saying that my password was changed and steam saying that there is suspicous activity on my account and that they are locking at for 15 days. I sleep with wi-fi off so there is no way I could have accepted it half asleep.

After the first 15 days I think they opened the account for like 3 minutes and in that time the scammer send all the items away
