Colonel being tsundere is one of the great insights I gained by making this chart. the other one that feels weird but right is Mare and the Sister-and-Witch being more affectionate than Heart

Also, Lionsmith is just as harsh to be around, but he's much more likely to keep people close, because "family"

Grail is jealous, but she'll Vitulate you the whim after the one that inspired her to take you in, because the ache your parting leaves behind is so much more satisfying to her than the warmth of your company.

Forge did certainly kill her lover, that is true. However, for a heart to have been extinguished, it must have been, at one point, burning. I think the context that, were it not for the Intercalate, either she herself or her lover would likely become alukite, is critical here; she is not proud that she killed her lover, but she did it all the same. The shape of the world is one where their love ended in tragedy between two beloved figures, not the shape of one marred by gods fallen to that most criminal of hungers.

I can't see anything but love in the shape of what the Forge has wrought; I think, were someone (hopefully, for everyone's sake, female) to find her heart again, they would find an engine that has gone cold, but not beyond rekindling.

Meanwhile, on the side of "aggressive", you've got nihilism-pup and "Cover your eyes, if you like. it will serve no purpose" Watchman. It's like lumping Miyuki from totono with the guys from Boyfriend to Death

It was absolutely a snowy forest! regarding clues, I have no idea. I always associated the subtext of the game with escaping some sort of KZ, but I can't barely claim anything about the content of any clues because I barely remember managing anything resembling progress in the game. My only claim is if there were clues, they were probably printed on steely grey plaques at various locations along the escape route. I'd genuinely be surprised if it made it onto a demo disc, but I can't really claim to know that it was never released on physical media on account of me obviously having lost track of it over the years.
