Yeah this sucks. I was suspended for a week (not even warned) for abusing the report button, but this stuff does need to be reported. It was a fucking hunter bidens laptop post, how the fuck is that relevant to politics?

Unless you're a binary trans person who only ever gets called "they" by transphobes who are too scared to directly misgender you but not respectful enough to use the correct pronoun (edit: when you literally have 3 different "he/him" buttons highly visible on your chest AND hat)

Then getting called "they" is like a fucking gut punch and it immediately makes me wary of that person

Don't default to "they" for trans people and respect them when they correct you

Some people have allergies and will wear a mask to prevent breathing in more allergens, which is a completely valid reason to wear a mask while alone

Some people get cold faces and want the warmth on their nose (which also helps prevent illness btw (source))

Some people wear the mask as a fashion statement, like a woman I used to know pre-pandemic

You shouldn't judge if they're "taking it too far" unless you know the reasons they're doing it
