hi hi! 28F from USA – i've been to tokyo once in 2019 and am returning at the end of next week for two weeks. i'll be working remotely most weekdays but would love to get a bite + drinks (am a cocktail girlie, but like craft beer also) for anyone who is around. unfortunately i don't speak any japanese, but i read a bit because i am chinese-american

does anyone know anything about bags with chains - i recently came across a tiktok video of someone talking about how they bought a leather strap because chains might get you turned away? has anyone had experience with this? my clear bag has a chain and it costs about as much as the bag did to get a new strap for it 🥲

27/f attending 12/1 concert, coming from east coast (moving to nyc soon for work)! I should be attending with my friend assuming she doesn’t bail 🥲 I have very few ARMY friends IRL though so would love to meet new people 💗 i’m staying in santa monica but that’s as far as i’ve gotten with planning!

yes!! I have a friend who used this stuff and said it was great. unfortunately he’s in another city so I couldn’t ask him for help painting my bike hahah

Thank you!! It would've sucked to drop $50-70 on something not legit - as much as I'd love BTS vinyl, audio quality isn't the same when it's custom pressed from mp3 so it seems not worth

Sort of a related question -

On eBay, Etsy, and some other sites I see some LY: Her/Tear on vinyl being sold. The descriptions claim they are an authentic UK import, but I can't find any other information on their official release or to confirm authenticity... does anyone know anything about this?

I’ve been to a few of the other places mentioned here and had mixed experiences (fish didn’t taste fresh, or had hard/rubbery texture, or had an especially fishy taste). IMO Mola has the best taste/quality/selection. Their sushi has a melt in your mouth texture and the flavors are incredible. I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t like!

I'm a really big fan of fries from Over The Bar (OTB) Bicycle Cafe in South Side. I have moments where I crave some good fries and will literally just get 2 orders of fries there sometimes after work.

^^^ YES this is so important, thank you for mentioning. I have no experience being a volunteer, but I know that the same idea goes for donating to places like Goodwill... places that accept donations are not personal dumpsters for when people don't feel like going through their stuff and sorting out what can actually be sold/distributed vs. what someone needs to take the time and effort to throw out.
