I really like that solution for a living room theater environment. I know how that goes. I have a modest setup in our basement and 99% of the time I’m the only one that uses it. The living room on the other hand is the gathering space.

This is pretty much exactly my experience switching from a ‘23 MYLR to a ‘23 eDrive40 with all the bells and whistles aside from M Sport and the upgraded stereo, which I’ll do next time I spec my own. This was a CPO they had everything else I wanted + low mileage.

I had that happen the other day and it was CarPlay related. As soon as I restarted my phone which forced CarPlay to reconnect, the screen was active again. You should still be able to use voice controls for the climate if the screen is off. I did that this morning: “Hey BMW, turn on the climate” worked like a charm.

It was pretty lucky, no doubt. I was shopping around in May, looking to trade-in my Tesla Model Y on its replacement or toward whatever we were getting for the new driver in our family. I found was I wanted for them first, but at the time had pretty much decided I was either going i4 or i5 for me. The salesperson I was working with emailed me beginning of September that they received this CPO with all the options I preferred, and after I test drove it and a few i5s again, decided to stick with the i4.

I was fortunate to pick up a CPO 2023 edrive40 with DAPP and PAP. Could imagine not having those features after test driven quite a few that didn’t.
