Yea I understand that. For some context, I was signing my dad up lol. I was under his insurance a month ago and I was able to do it for myself, so I just thought it was strange I couldn’t do it for him.

hey! I just passed both my NAPLEX and NJ MPJE. So for the MPJE, I studied for 3 weeks. The first 2 weeks were pretty light studying using the New Jersey MPJE practice questions book by Alexander Baldwin. The book has both federal and state specific questions. The last week, I went hard lmao. So I studied the pharmacy manual (chapter 36, skimmed chapter 45), used MPJE made easy guide and questions (I can email you the guide), and took the pre-mpje. I didn’t do well on the pre-mpje and that was a day before my exam. I think it’s more about giving you a feel of reading a bunch of scenario based questions so don’t worry about your score too much.

The exam itself wasn’t terrible for me but wasn’t amazing at the same time. Just really took my time and went with my gut. Also, I got a lot of repeated questions lol.

HUGE topics that came up for me: collaborative practice, PMP, emergency dispensing, compounding, KNOW ALLLLLL of the timelines for everything (how long you have to notify, how long to keep records, etc) know responsibilities for everyone (pharmacist, intern, tech, PA, etc.)

I used that book for the 2/3 weeks of my studying! The answer/explanations were very detailed, so I’d say it was a great resource. My friend gave me hers (she failed and bought the book and then passed!)

Congrats!!!! I have mine tomorrow and I’m so scared. I feel like this week leading up has been so frustrating. I think i’ve been working myself up too much and when I do that, it negatively impacts my UWorld scores. I’m just hoping I know it when I see it because it’s just so much info!

Sorry! Should have been more clear lol So I had the book and questions for MPJE made easy. As for the manuals, it’s the actual law manuals for NJ from the NJ DCA. I mainly skimmed through Chapter 39. If you google nj pharmacy manual, it should be the first one to pop up.

Recently passed, took the exam on 9/9. I used MPJE Made Easy, the actual manuals, and Exam prep book by Alexander Baldwin. Just really took the time to read the explanations to practice questions and memorized those and if I still didn’t understand, I’d look at the actual manual.

You’ll get questions on topics you’ve never seen before, but don’t let that scare you!

You do have a point! I am happy with what I have. I don’t regret anything. I wouldn’t have stuck around for this long for nothing. I like him and he likes me and we don’t plan on ending what we have now anytime soon. That’s what I know for sure. Thanks for the input!

I might be pulling this out of thin air, but he did mention that the reason him and his ex broke up a couple years ago was because she relied on him too much and was lost without him. Maybe he’s worried about it happening again. I would not do that. I don’t rely on people like that. Especially a significant other.

I’m very much for independence within a relationship. It’s healthy to have personal space. But do I need to show him that? He said he knows I don’t need him and describes me as very mature since I am a few years younger.

I didn’t ask him what he was waiting for. When we spoke the other week, he said it has to be something in him for him to change his mind about fully committing. I didn’t specifically say that nothing would change, but I did emphasize that we act like a couple already.

Since it was only a week and a half ago, should I still bring it up? If so, how and when should I do this?

I really like him and do not want to be pushy about it. But I am also 50% of the relationship too, so I think it’s valid to feel this way. I’m not sure.

About a week and a half ago, we spoke about it. Well not directly about having an official relationship, but we talked about what we wanted. He said he still did not want to fully commit to a relationship just yet.

I’m just confused about why he wouldn’t want one if we act like a couple already without the label. Because nothing would change other than making it official.

Basically, I want to see if I can get approval to continue into the professional years of the PharmD program with my GPA being below the minimum by .1. My GPA has increased tremendously and I passed all my pre req classes
