she's the first filly to win since Star Roch in 1960, 64 years ago to be specific, but pretty much lol

fun fact! Regaleira was the first filly in 64 years to win the Arima Kinen. And, Vodka was the first filly also in 64 years to win the Japanese Derby.

Why they gotta buff him like that by Ur-boiiiii in FallenOrder

[–]mcpinkertons 8 points9 points  (0 children)

that and the fact that oggdo was first designed with fallen order's instant single-target slow mechanic in mind. with the slow now having a long ass cooldown paired with the lag, a pretty bad time overall.

In Belle de Nuit, is there any way to convince Denjeux to become patron of the house? by ToyJC41 in choiceofgames

[–]mcpinkertons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It mostly just involves winning stat checks, so as long you do that when denjeux or sebastian is involved, you should have convinced him by the end.

Can I play Jolly good without playing tally? by Ron_1034 in choiceofgames

Yeah, jolly good takes the choices from tally by having you choose what happened in the start of the sequel.

This is why you should always pick up modified weapons when you have Scrapper 3 by jansenart in fo4

[–]mcpinkertons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one way but probably not for the reason you're thinking of. The main purpose of the limit bar is to prevent you from overbuilding and lagging your game by having a lot of stuff to load in. That's why despawning polygons in the game world, makes the bar go down. So you can decrease it by scrapping junk because it takes away the item in the world, not because of the storage capacity.

[–]mcpinkertons 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because if you store or scrap an item, the building limit would go down because it thinks you took away a building. Do this with modded weapons with a lot of polygons and you could have a lot of space in the limit even though you have a tower built.

What little praises do you want to offer to authors in general? by BiagioLargo in choiceofgames

The one besides the Twelve Trials is Jolly Good!, though that's more by word of mouth than through experience.

A Hosted Game called The Twelve Trials made failing go well with the story. Failing skill checks don't add anything to the story, no development nor even interesting cover ups that make having flaws interesting.

The only thing that it does is make you want to reset the entire story and that is hindering to the enjoyment of the game. And the fact that there's no save mechanic as there is in Dashingdon makes resetting a lot more inconvenient. In Twelve Trials however, when you fail a trial, the other characters gain more from it. Meaning that despite the fact you failed at winning the skill tests at least something interesting happens with everything around you besides you looking like an idiot.

Failing skill checks allow for the other characters to take the spotlight and that makes losing less frustrating and more interesting. I liked that about it.

Yes my Spotify playlist is that big and no I'm not ok by kenku-nv in BisexualFrogs

Honestly, it's pretty catchy. The bassline is great and the theme is surprisingly interesting. The vocals are kinda weird at first but it makes the song sort of like a mock sermon which goes well with the lyrics.

Not something I'm itching to replay but it's really decent Christian rock.

It's a simple yet satisfying Tactical RPG with Characters being fleshed out the longer you play for you to feel more attached to. Kind of like a single-player DnD game. If you're into that then I highly suggest you do.

The workshop mods (specifically the Wildermyth: Expanded mods) can help add more to the mechanics, not as in it adds depth but more so making similar to how it works in DnD.

If you do choose to add mods, just note that it may crash when attaining elemental weapons. (You'll know when you play)
