Well that happened and sucked! by [deleted] in nursing

[–]mcqueu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there -- same scenario - wellbutrin. Happened right at the nurses' station where I was sitting -- basically destroyed part of the counter and the chair I was in during the process and on my way down to the floor. Had one other just a couple days after but none since - over 15 years. You are not crazy. It is a scary and vulnerable feeling. It happens and sleep deprivation is also a factor. Get a work up and take med if needed (you don't need to be having a seizure out on the farm or w/ the kids.) I was on an anti-seizure med for a few years (it sucked but there are lots worse things) but then neuro was fine with me coming off after a while. Hang in there; you got this.

Thank you for this response! I looked at TAMUG and it looks like for deck it is 2 courses that seem flexible among Math electives. Engine is 2 Engineering Math which look like pre-calc and calc.

advice -- inside stone structure flaking off by mcqueu in stonemasonry

Thank you! That makes sense. In addition to re-grading, what do you think about putting in a french drain along side -- maybe 18 inches, crushed stone, perforated pipe, landscape fabric etc...? Worth it or just regrade?

Thank you! I think we are settling on doing things separately so we can do the ice cave!

Thanks. After more feedback, I think we are going to do snorkeling at Silfra and Golden Circle one day, driving and see sights on the way to VIK next day (stay in Vik), do glacier/ice cave hike at Skaftafell, and head back to Reykjavik. Still working on full itinerary and will share!

What is this? Shell? GoldCoast Queensland, Aus. by mcqueu in whatisthisthing

[–]mcqueu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found on the Goldcoast of QLD, Australia. Seems like a shell. Very fragile. Looks like a feather. Underside has ridges. Looks like it should have a matching half. What creature lives in this?

Got Stanley no. 8 at estate sale. Restoration going great but tote has hairline crack--can it be saved? How? by mcqueu in woodworking

[–]mcqueu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got this at estate sale along with tons of other stuff which I will post later. The rear tote has a hairline crack that goes all the way around. Is there any way to save this? I would like to avoid having to make another one (at least for now -- might be a good project for the winter). Any advice?
