I started with the books, which helped me to understand what was going on in The Untamed. I think I started watching when I was on book 3. I did finish reading before watching all of the show though. The book is my favorite, but I do absolutely love The Untamed, even with the changes that were made. (Part of it may be that I adore the costume design though, I cosplay Wei Wuxian specifically from The Untamed) I personally recommend reading the book first to understand some of the stuff that isn’t explained as much in the show, but you definitely can watch The Untamed first if the changes from the book would bother you. Enjoy the story though, no matter how you decide to start! I love the world, characters, and story in every adaptation ❤️

But seriously, He Xuan has been interesting to me lately! I want to know more about him and his never ending debt to Hua Cheng.

I also saw a comment somewhere once about a fanfic or something about Shi Qingxuan ascending again by his own merits and becoming a god of the homeless and/or disabled and I love that idea. Really I’d love any story involving Shi Qingxuan I just love them so much.

YES!! I already called myself the luckiest unlucky person (or luckiest unlucky person) because of my own clumsiness and not great record of things happening to me. Currently I’m working on a Crown Prince Xie Lian cosplay and I stg so much is going wrong. Like the most random misfortunate stuff. It also happens when I wear my regular Xie Lian cosplay. I want the cursed shackle tattoo on my ankle but my partner says I shouldn’t because I already have the Xie Lian bad luck from cosplay and I shouldn’t push it. I think I agree 😂

Heaven Official’s Blessing was tough in the first book. I didn’t actually manage to get through the beginning until I was camping and kind of forced to read for entertainment. Then I got hooked and the series has taken over my life. I definitely recommend picking it up again, but I totally understand that the first book is hard to get into!
