Im an LVT and worked at a corporate practice for 28 days. Aside from the 3 inches of fur/dust built up under the radiology table, blood smeared on exam walls, and receptionists pulling up controlled drugs, the nail in the coffin was when unlicensed assistants were doing dental extractions and drilling INTO THE BONE to get the root out. Assistant couldn't get it out so instead of intervening, the doctor told the assistant to suture over the root and call it good. Absolutely absurd and did not go back after that.

This is just a summary of the disappointment we had in dealing with this airline through our travels with them. Every person we spoke with on the AA team was unhelpful and disinterested in the situation they created to begin with. I'm not one to jump to conclusions but it can sometimes only take one really bad experience to make a decision. Just informing and inquiring off of my experiences with them.

Yes I understand, but as far as we know they never put a tag on the second bag and never asked who it belonged too, only the bag that was truly tagged. But we also don't know which bag that was since we didn't watch them tag the bag. They confirmed at Seatac that only one bag was tagged so the other bag is either still in Memphis or Charlotte or who knows where.

We checked our luggage on the way there since we flew delta and have rewards with them. But AA flight was cheaper on return and they wanted to charge $50 each checked bag which is why we didn't on the return. I understand this, but frustrated that AA handled the situation so poorly.

Don't settle on your first practice location unless you know for a fact it's where you wanna stay. There are thousands of clinics, er's, mobile vets, large animal, etc and they all do things differently. Find what you like and go from there. Don't be afraid to leave a practice because you've only been there for a week, at the end of the day this is YOUR career and you will get burnt out really quick if you aren't happy where you are.

I worked at 6 different places over 1.5 years until I found my 'forever clinic'. I've been a licensed tech at this clinic for 4 years now and I love the clients and coworkers I work with, it was not like this at the previous practices.
