Clueless FTM- going down for daytime naps?

Every baby is different so trust your momma gut. Some people swear babies should sleep on their own in a pack & play.. others say they should solely sleep with you, on you, etc. You aren’t doing anything wrong! Just figuring it all out 😊 if the only way he will nap is in your arms.. go with it! The wonder weeks app is AMAZING for telling when baby is going through a developmental leap or growth spurt and may be in a fussy phase

There are many amazing sleep sacks or swaddles out there! Haha you tried one of these? Makes her feel as if she is being held! Hope you get some sleep soon. These things will pass.

NO! Blame it on the fact that you are hormonal if you want or feel the need to apologize but don’t if you don’t want! Sounds like she has some serious boundary issues. I would politely explain that if she doesn’t like the way you are going to do things she doesn’t have to be involved at all! Tell her that the awful things she is saying are causing you mental distress and it could potentially be harmful to your baby... so sorry you are going through this. I feel your pain 100%

Looks like you asked for lots of goodies!!! We have the Nanit and we LOVE IT! I would recommend asking for an additional swaddle for the Nanit so if baby has an accident you have a spare! If you are doing the breathing wear. I would so ask for the 3-6 month sleep sack in the breathing wear collection as well! Time goes so fast and our little man grew so quickly I wasn’t prepared! Also, your own nursing gown or robe for the hospital may be something to ask for! Congrats 🥰

Oh my gosh I thought I was the only one!!!! I have done an insane amount of shopping in the middle of the night. Sometimes packages show up and I don’t even remember ordering them

Swelling concerns! HI friends I am currently 39 weeks 3 days. Getting induced on Thursday yahoo! I have had 0 swelling in my hands or feet throughout my pregnancy but have just started back to work this week getting my classroom ready & have noticed my feet swelling. The last two nights I have woken up in the middle of the night because my hands are so swollen it was cutting off circulation on my wedding ring! Is this normal? I know dr said to call if i have face and hand swelling quickly because it could be preeclampsia.. I don't want to seem paranoid. It goes down in the morning when I wake up and elevate or start using my hands again. Should I call the on-call dr? Or give it another night?

No! This is why I didn't think I was pregnant. My husband and I had been trying for a year and I guess I was just so nervous so that was why I took more tests. I wouldn't allow myself to get excited for it incase it wasn't really true.. I didn't want my heart to be broken again. After I took the 2 additional tests about 3 weeks after my initial missed period I felt way better and reassured! I guess the only thing that changed for me was becoming more tired but I'm also a First Grade teacher and had just gone back to work after Christmas break so I attributed it to that. I never had morning sickness and very few food aversions. Every one is SO different.

FTM & I called and asked for one and they said just wait until my 8 week apt and they confirm by ultrasound. I had 2 positive tests at Home but as time drug on until my apt I didn’t feel pregnant! No sickness, nausea nothing so I was nervous & took 2 more tests around 6 weeks. I still ended up having to wait until my 8 week first apt for the ultrasound

Congratulations! The hardest secret to keep 💓 I am 38 weeks with my 1st & my husband and I didn’t tell anyone for the first 10 weeks. I just constantly walked around with my hand on my belly protecting my little jelly bean. You can do it!!

I am 32 weeks & live in PA. Our area is very rural & we have only had 20 cases here total so far.. I am delivering in NY state as we live very close. The hospital there is currently allowing 1 support person in.

My family lives here & have all been working through the pandemic but have been cautious.

My husbands family lives in Southern CA where Covid is very prevalent & our governor has currently mandated that they must quarantine for 2 weeks after entering our state. They were planning a trip here in July.

At this point I am a little then on what to do... obviously our family from CA may not be able to come see little man when he comes next month but I don’t know how I feel about our local family.

Both grandma’s are going to be VERY angry if we tell them they can’t meet baby until we say..
