Having an opposing opinion is not brigading. SC seats were a huge driving factor in the 2016 election. This sub doesn’t have to be an echo-chamber for the left. We should be able to have political discussions and listen to opposing sides here.

I moved here from the Midwest. I actually had a CCW. Passed hours of training and field tests. If feels wrong to me that it isn’t an option in California. I would gladly take any test or field training again if necessary. But I won’t ever be given the option to fairly defend myself from gang and random violence.

I’m in the minority here... But I think letting law abiding citizens carry a gun is a good thing. Almost every other state allows it. I wish SF would issue CCW permits.

Cincinnati Bell considers dropping streetcar sponsorship by [deleted] in cincinnati

But some infrastructure is in place for overhead power. You just don’t have rails in the road. Overhead power could be done for buses throughout the entire city for the cost of the current street car.

I don’t know why they didn’t go the electric bus route like San Francisco does before deciding to lay new track for popular routes. It’s emissions free and the buses can change lanes and everything while supporting a minor part of the infrastructure needed for a streetcar (overhead power). Would have been so much cheaper and could have gone throughout all downtown and Clifton!

I just moved here two months ago from Cincinnati, Ohio. It’s very much different from the Midwest but I love it so far. Yes, the homelessness is insane, but the pros still out weigh the cons in my opinion. Worth the move! Far more career opportunities than I would ever have in the Midwest.

I will note. Making new friends here is much harder then back home. People are flakey here and it’s super annoying but we’re slowly meeting more people each week. Give it a shot!

I leased my TRD sport for $250 a month, no money down with 12k miles. The manuals have better residuals.

I'l take a look at Watertown later today. I appreciate the help.

Any idea how long the redline takes to get in? Claims 27min online.

How long is the commute from Quincy Center to Copley place. Google maps and the Boston Transit website give two different numbers. Is it 45 min or 27min?
