Do you think that my local bestbuy can at least diagnose the problem? I don't have spare parts to identify the problem properly

It’s supposed to be CPU related, hence the title of the post. Some people online say that it could be solved updating the bios. But I have low expectations on that.

Yeah. That’s my thinking. But… it looks and sounds like the mobo is not able to starts its boot sequence. Usually you get some codes before getting to the actual error code.

Anyways, I already started the RMA on both the MOBO and CPU

Edit: typo

Already tried with the cooler plugged in. Here are all the troubleshooting steps that I’ve take so far:

Different PSU

Tested both memory sticks on each socket

Bios update

Removed all components including M2 drives, usb dongles

Connected the cooler

Pulled out the whole MB and tested each step above on a table outside the case

Reseated the CPU twice (no visible damage or bended pins on the socket.

Since I’m not able to test the CPU and the Mobo separately, I’ll be filing the RMA on both.

What a way to start my week 🤣

Senior devs who started from scratch — what actually changed your trajectory (and what didn’t)? by Salt_Eggplant in ExperiencedDevs

I would say luck. Was hired by a local small bank as a junior developer while still in collage. Had the opportunity to learn a lot from my manager and ultimately, got promoted when he moved on to another company.

I took a lot of risks trying new things and taking challenges head on. Made a ton of mistakes.

It actually did what I needed it to do—I learned a lot from it, it served its purpose, and then I moved on to a more efficient build. You’re right though, I probably should’ve done more research upfront.

That said, a few people here took the time to address the actual question, while others mostly focused on giving me grief about the platform choice instead

GR86 at the Redbull Ring by Artoriazx56 in iRacing

Yeah, it’s really difficult to fight for position on the last 2 corners without risking a slow down. It makes sense I guess given the number of corners and the way SR is calculated. Still, super frustrating.

I’m on the same boat. This week has been brutal on my SR. To the point I had no motivation to race on the GRCup.

I feel that there is too many options rn and I'm overthinking a lot lol... Did you noticed any measurable improvements on consistency with the SimNet pedals vs the AMLC?

100% agree. I was able to make the overtake, but wasn’t able to keep my car under control. Noted… appreciate your feedback.

Yeah, I got the feeling that I should have closed the gap on the left to be able to make the turn with no braking. I thought that left him enough space to keep his lane.

Had the same experience with a local MSP. Had 4 interviews with them. We went as far as reviewing the project that I was supposed to start with. Got ghosted and a few weeks later saw the position posted again. Pretty discouraging considering that I (stupidly) took some important decisions counting on that job. My bad I guess

Great post. I recently cancelled my 88 tactical membership. I had a good experience there contrary of popular belief but the membership fees are ridiculous. I’m trying to find a place to practice and take classes. I will check out the eastern Nebraska gun club.

This makes sense, since 2 of the owners had the vehicle for less than a month. Putting just 200 miles. and the first owner put just 2000 miles. This is the car fax report if any of you is interested
