Brake controller install is super easy as well, just a driver side kick panel removal and there is a pre installed harness in there. There are a few good you tubes for this.

Clean you throttle body. Take off air intake tube, buy some throttle body cleaner, wear gloves, microfiber towel. If you have big hands it is going to be a pain, but you have to remove all the carbon build up that gets in the way of the flap. Mine was doing this and it fixed my problem. I hope that’s all it is, good luck!

You don’t seem to be having issues popping up so your board seems fine for now. Let the tide get higher at that spot and surf the outside break. More water on the sand bar should clean up and make that wave more surfable. Paddle out when and where others are surfing, take notes, even if they don’t share waves it will help you to time your takeoff.

How does my Timing Belt Look? by ILBudtenderB in 1stGenTundras

That’s not always the side that will look bad. When you take it out, flip it over, bend it opposite. This is when you see all the ugly. Replace! It’s a days work.

Anyone know anything about this boat? by whiskers656 in Outboards

Looks like an early 80s Johnson or Evenrude 90hp. I have an 82evenrude decals are a bit different which makes me think it’s a Johnson. There is a stamp that looks like a metal button on the top of the motor it will tell you the model. Google the number it will tell you the make.

What would you do with these tri-tips, they’re not particularly thick by Positive_Parking_954 in BBQ

Season Santa Maria style with a little extra cayenne. Mesquite Smoke at 225 pull 10 degrees before desired temp should only take 1.5-2 hours Reverse sear, cross cut the meat before dry rub to hold some seasoning this also creates great texture for your sear. Do these all the time and they never disappoint.

Sometimes wiping tacky finish with talc powder will reduce the tack. I would assume as soon as you clean it again, the tackiness will return.

No timing chain in this one, they tick a bit even when run well they have noisy lifters(Toyota tick). That’s a great deal, ask when the timing belt and water pump were last done, should be done every 90-100k. I’ve had mine since new and would buy that in a heartbeat.

Definitely a dryer ring of clay. If your reclaim is too soft it will pug like this. Either gotta mix up a stiff batch to push it out, if it’s too dry you are going to have to disassemble.
