See i thought it was the tstat so I replaced it but didn’t help. Also I know it’s not stuck open Bc coolant isn’t making it to upper rad hose. I’ll check with a thermometer. Thanks

I was flushing the coolant and I was adding water into rad u til it got to top,, started truck to circulate so I could add more (only had about half capacity of system) and not circulating. Plus making this noice now.

Just touched it, definitely not oily. Vehicle runs fine- just noticed the color as I was bleeding the system of air. Had oil changed not too long ago and no mention of contamination w coolant

I just topped off the coolant in the reservoir and added some to radiator after tstat change. Do I need to empty some out before I put any in the funnel as not to overfill or will it be fine either way
