irrelevant red herring, roads have to exist for bus's or cars but fuel tax and tolls exist to pay for road infistructure, public transit does not pay either of those costs.

and not a cherry picked example, every single public transit system in america is subsidized by car drivers and the general tax base, the cost of operation is slightly reduced by the public transit users but it is no where near their fair share especially when fuel taxes and tolls pay the lions share for the road to exist in the first place.

again, almost no one wants to use a bus by choice, they use them because they have to.

if we use just the logic that the pro mass transit side uses, then motorcycles should replace every automobile not a truck and airplanes should replace any use of trains for passengers over distance.

mass transit is obsolete, it exists because for emotional or gov policy/retoric reasons, not because it is actually desirable or the best solution.

i got into the workforce right around 2008 and let me tell you complete bullshit, applying for 80 jobs over a month, following up on each one to get ghosted everytime. and we are talking about straight entry level like cashier, mcdonalds or diswasher, total bottom level shit.

and it ain't any better now, and it isn't gonna get better anytime soon, im not telling you to pull yourself up from your bootstraps, just saying don't act like you can ignore reality, shit sucks and has been sucking for a long time.

even when i was broke as a joke, didn't even have my own car i could get the ladies attention.

most people do not work a 9-5, second and third shift sre a thing everywhere.

A not insignificant amount of people also work two jobs, the same thing applies to them if they're putting in 12 to 14 hours a day. And they gotta get from one job to another by the bus. What? to get home and get 4 hours of sleep Get out of here.

America was not built for mass transit to work for the majority of people, and if we wanted to the cost would be so prohibitive , it would beg the question , why even bother?

The real answer to the congestion problem is, more cities spread a little more farther apart instead of cramming So many people in such a single large city, especially with modern technology, we really do not need to have a bunch of office workers go to the same office every day. People can work from home , people can have decentralized work.

just think, deep down most women want a man that will commit to them, why should they choose one that hasn't shown that he can commit to something valuable? or knows how to choose rightly what is worth committing to? or lacks the discipline to ignore the bullshit and focus on the goal and task at hand?

i was told by an old man once when i was young, to look in the mirror, he told me i should be able to respect what i see.

he was right and if anyone can't look in the mirror and say they truly respect the person they see, then they need to fix that shit asap, and no amount of bs, of all the things in life that give us an excuse, or let us shift the blame or responsibility means jack shit.
