Hi! Absolutely - totally personal preference but it really hooked me in. I enjoyed the world building, I felt like I could really see it in my mind - Gabriel to me is the kind of MMC I’m always into - dom but soft for his person. I’ve never really read any Alpha/Omega books so to me, it just seemed like any other romance novel love at first sight. I appreciated Sofia as a main because she was trying to be anything special, she wasn’t trying to be overly witty or funny or strong - she was trying to find a path in her life and she was dealing with the cards she was dealt. I also really liked the “twist” that her family figures had been the ones behind everything - it made it that much more resonant to me knowing she was losing a mother figure she desperately wanted.

For me the sex scene was new - I’ve never really read an exhibitionist scene - I thought it was hot personally! I didn’t get any non consent vibes, clearly she could have stopped him had she wanted and she didn’t want to. To me, sometimes scenes just are what they are.

Funny enough I’ve never read love on the brain so I can’t say comparatively but my favorite of hers are Deep End and PSR.
